CVS- my fav

CVS (aka Magic Coupon Store to Dylan)- Easiest of the drug stores & probably my favorite :D
Coupons- 1 manufacturer coupon & store coupon PER item
CVS Coupons- 1st things 1st you NEED a CVS card I would suggest signing up in store because you get it right then but if not you can sign up here but will have to wait 2 weeks to get your card https://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/user/signup.jsp You can find CVS coupons here http://print.coupons.com/couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=14415&zid=oj97&nid=10&bid=alk1221101214a3c6721a924111 & also in random magazines. The one i buy is .99 @ CVS (usually by the cash register just ask the cashier, right now it's called Winter issue of Reinventing Beauty magazine & all the coupons in there are CVS store coupons! (it will say CVS pharmacy on it instead of Manufacturer)
Policy- https://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvscontent/faq/couponpolicy.pdf Collins detailed information about policy & a video! http://hip2save.com/store-guides/cvs/
ECB (how to get, use them)- are basically CVS's form of money that they give you for buying certain items that they are advertising you can also "roll" (do multiple transactions & use the ECB you got on the 1st transaction on the 2nd one to lower your OOP expense OR save it for next week! :D)
So this past week my deal looked like this:
Spend $12 on Colgate, Speed Stick, Irish Spring, Softsoap products = $6 Ecb (limit 2)- the limit # is very important & helpful it means that CVS will usually not be  Buy 6 Lady Speed Stick Stainguard deodorants on sale $1.99 "cleared out" like walgreens can be because there is a limit on how many times you can do the deal
Total = $11.94 -Every time i have done a deal like this the ECB will still print when you are a few pennies shy of the amount
Use 3 Buy 1 Get 1 Free Speed Stick coupons found in the 1/29 SS
Pay $0.00 YMMV here with BOGO coupons WITH CVS if the cashier just scans the coupon it will deduct the full "up to amount in this case up to 3.99" CVS cashiers are always the best with coupons (Go managers for training them) my cashier started to look up the price and all i said is "if you scan it, it should go through since you guys get the full amount back" so she scanned it and yup went through perfectly except the last one beeped and told her that it could only apply 3.96 toward the total (once again NO OVERAGE at CVS) and of course i said "yes, that's fine!"
Get back $6 Ecb
Final cost $0. for all 6 items! & Got back 6ECB to use (in my case on another transaction since the limit was 2) OR you can use it on something else OR you can just keep in till next week
ECB are just like CASH so even if you have a CVS coupon & a MF coupon per 1 item already you CAN still use ECB after all your coupons to lower your OOP expense. The only rule with this is that you can't use ECB to pay for the tax so you can only use them up until the subtotal is 0.00 (i just keep asking the cashier how much more can I use or look at the screen)
"Magic Coupon Machine"- CVS has a machine in the front of the store when you walk in that will print out different random coupons (These are CVS coupons that can be paired with a MF for extra savings!)
You also earn back 2% of all your spending at CVS (in the form of ECB)which will print out of the ECB machine at the end of every quarter.
GREEN TAGS- CVS has little green tags (usually around 1$) that you put on your reusable bags. You can scan 1 tag A DAY (not transaction) & after you scan it 3 times on the 4th time you get 1$ off (i think, i will have to double check)
How I shop here & Tips- ALWAYS scan your CVS card UNTIL it says "no more coupons please check back tomorrow" sometimes i have scanned it 3 or 4 times! :D
ALWAYS scan your CVS card BEFORE they check you out that way you can make sure you are getting all the "card holder special prices" :)
IF your ECB expire by a day or 2 (worst thing ever) take them into the store anyway, my CVS will still take them :)
Walk around the store & keep your eyes peeled for clearance deals CVS has BOMB clearance deals OR if you are lazy like me. Just wait for Collin to post clearance finds haha

*Rain Check- CVS has the BEST raincheck policy out of the stores in my opinion. They NEVER expire & since ECB are directly from CVS you can get your ECB along with the sale price!  (I've been waiting for 2 weeks to get a deal that they had on glade items. Every CVS has been sold out and now i'm just waiting & hoping that my coupons don't expire.)
-I have not tested this BUT I have read that CVS WILL accept your expired coupons for your raincheck items but YMMV here.

I'm sure i'll think of more things so check back later for updates :D
